Do You See What I See?

I have always been fascinated by the infinite variations of the colour green. Perhaps it is just my perception, but a vista of trees vibrates in high definition, a multi-faceted array of tones. I have always wondered if we all see colours differently. If what I know as green is in fact a totally different shade from that which you perceive. My oldest son is completely colour blind, an aspect of his dyslexia. He only sees in shades of grey. Yet will identify a banana as being yellow, because that is the name he was taught for that shade. So perhaps that is why I drown in green. Because I see it differently.

In her previous incarnation, she was a famous Parisian courtesan, and witch, thus explaining her habit of talking to the moon in french. Due to her inability to control her thought/speech processes, she writes about life, love, laughter and anything else that happens to spill out. • Intrigues me completely!! It affects his ability to see words on a page, although he is fiercely bright, and is currently doing a masters in ancient history! Thank goodness for technology, which means he can listen and speak, rather than just read and write, to produce his work!! If he were my age, he would have been labelled stupid!!

      • Wow….thank you for saying that….people I know say that to me, but I don’t really believe them, because I know them.

I am honest. I am honest to a fault, some say….but, I treat others how I want to be treated (unless they piss me off and then that’s entirely different), and I don’t like being lied to, about anything….even in niceties.

Always being honest really does make a lonely life.

      • I have always been honest. Not an easy option. And yes, can be lonely. But meh!! I would rather be lonely and me, than pretend to be someone else. Hahah!! And I do the same, treat people as I want to be treated. But NEVER piss off the redheaded witch!!

  2. Interesting – you must have got all the green genes as I am blue green colour blind! Cue lots of interesting clashing combinations when dressing my 2yo son!
